Who are we?

Hi! I’m Phil and I’m the owner of Ultimate iPods. I’ve worked in the tech repair industry since 1998 and have a wealth of technical knowledge. I’m always happy to answer any tech questions and promise not to bamboozle you with tech jargon!

As an avid iPod user, I am keen to preserve arguably the best iPod Apple ever released, the iPod classic. I love restoring old tech, especially iPods, allowing future generations to enjoy an audio experience free from any connected music data services.

My personal choice for listening is an iPod video 5.5 enhanced modified with a 512GB SSD and audio cap mod coupled with my aging Sennheiser HD700.

I’m currently on the lookout for a decent 30-pin line out to a 3.5mm female audio jack connector. If you know where to find such a connector, give me a shout!
